Warranty on Residential Construction
The warranty consists of several components. Coverage following building acceptance includes:
1 year
for the repair of an existing defect or a manufacturing defect that was not apparent at the time of acceptance, provided that these are reported within a reasonable time (e.g., plumbing issues, minor repairs, and electrical problems).
3 years
for the repair of hidden defects reported within a reasonable time (e.g., cracks, water leaks).
5 years
for the repair of design or construction defects affecting the structural integrity of the building or causing serious inconvenience.
Our warranty criteria are established in accordance with residential construction warranty standards.
Lachance Enterprises has an AA rating, the highest rating awarded by the GCR. This rating is based on the quality of the company’s construction work and its financial stability.
Owners of a new home can apply for a tax refund by filling out this form.
Note: First-time buyers of a new home are entitled to a 100% GST refund.
